The Marauders are in their final year at school and ever aware that they will need their friends more than ever this year as the war the wizarding world has feared begins. However, the whole public is not convinced it is. Rumours and scaremongering from various sources has left people questioning if something serious is truly happening. The world climate is tense but people are desperately holding on to ignorance. In their blindness, Deatheaters have grown in confidence and their numbers are swelling with magical creatures. The ministry faces those favourable to Lord Voldemort and his cause. In the Auror offices nervous employees worry about their cases and their own lives. The war that the ministry hopes to avoid is now starting.
