Remus smiled when they reached the parlor, and looked around for an empty table. He spotted one and led Joc over to it, pulling out her chair for her to sit before taking his own seat.

Joc blushed as Remus pulled out her seat for her, no one had ever done that before and she found herself momentarily frozen before taking her seat. She took her seat and put her elbows up on the table and her chin in her hands, “So where were we?” she asked referring to the conversation they had put on pause during the walk from the bookstore.

"Hmm...well, I think we ended on some question or another." He joked with a grin-he honestly couldn't remember which one. "Maybe I'll go get the ice cream before we start interrogating each other again?" He offered.

“At least it wasn’t in the middle of answering one, so as long we don’t repeat questions we can just start anywhere I guess. I could never say no ice cream once I step foot into the parlor,” she admitted.

Remus laughed. "You mean you don't ordinarily come to the ice cream parlor just to be tortured and don't order anything?" He teased. He then double-checked with a somewhat cocky grin, "Strawberry cheesecake, right?"

“This isn’t torture, Remus, unless of course you want it to be,” she ran her fingers along her collar bone to tease him, grinning all the while. “Yes,” she confirmed her grin not faltering as she crossed her legs and settle comfortably and confidently back into her seat.

Remus laughed at Joc's teasing, but pointed out, "I was reffering to the not ordering ice cream as torture...But it's all the same, I suppose." he said with a grin before going over to the counter to order. "Two scoops of strawberry cheescake in a waffle cone, and two scoops of chocolate fudge brownie in the same." He requested. Once he'd recieved the two ice cream cones and handed over a few coins, he returned to the table. He handed Joc's hers before reclaiming his seat and taking a lick of his own.

“That is a torture I couldn’t survive,” she said as he walked away, not really knowing whether or not he had heard her. Joc watched as Remus went to get the ice cream, which was actually a little more checking him out them boredom of being left alone. She diverted his eyes during his return to the table and said thanks when he handed her, her ice cream and she took a bite out of it before she realized that words escaped her for the moment.

"Your welcome." He responded to her thanks, leaning back in his chair as he ate his icecream. "So, who's turn was it to ask a question?" He asked, getting back to their earlier conversation.

“I believe you were asking the questions before we left so I saying its up to you who asks them now.” She said with a grin before returning to her ice cream.

"Okay then...I suppose I'll start." he said, deciding it better to learn more about Joc than keep trading back and forth the question of who should go first. "So...What do you like most about Hogwarts?"

“It would have to be the ability to be who I am magic and all and not have to fear being laughed at or made fun of for that alone. What about you? And what is your favorite class at Hogwarts?” They’d talked about their least favorite and their favorite muggle course but not their favorite Hogwarts course so she figured to ask.

"Favorite thing about Hogwarts would be...well, like you, being able to be myself, and having friends who know all about me and like me anyways." he said, being slightly vague, since the reason this was his favorite thing about Hogwarts was that he'd never had any friends that knew about him being a werewolf before and didn't seem to care-actually, they seemed to think it was cool. "And course would be Defense Against The Dark Arts, though I do like Care of Magical Creatures also. I take it yours is Astronomy?" He guessed.

Joc noticed that they had similar answers to the same question and momentarily had to wonder if he had simply stolen her answer but quickly banished the thought. “Of course it is,” she said with a smile. “What are some of your pet peeves?” she asked after a moment of thought and eating.

"Hmm...Well, I guess when things in published work have bad grammer, it irritates me....Also when people interupt people in the middle of a conversation." he said after a thinking for a bit. "You?" he asked curiously as he took another bite of his icecream.

“Understandable,” she commented on his answer. After a moment of thought she answered, “Rudeness in general, and people like my grandparents are the things that really annoy me the most.”What’s the first thing besides looks that you notice or look for in a girl?”

"Hmm...well, I suppose the major thing is if their evil or not." He joked with a grin. "But the intelligence factor and ability to joke around are important to." He delared slightly more seriously. "So what do you look for in a guy?" He asked curiously with a flirtatious wink.

“Evil is a state of opinion, sir,” she responded to his joke. She blushed a bit at his wink but still answered, “Much the same as you, I suppose and honesty is a big one too.” She had to think a moment before she could come up with another question so she just continued eating her ice cream knowing that subconsciously it was because she was worried it would melt despite the fact that it was charmed not to. “What is you guilty pleasure?”

Remus bit his lip. He did have a nack for lieing out of tough situations, or at least telling half-truths. He resolved to try and avoid this around Joc and began to ponder the next question. "Hmm...Honestly, I suppose the pranking almost is." He decided-for he did hate to get caught, and felt guilty when people actually got offended by his jokes and pranks. "You?" He asked.

Joc didn’t really have to think about her answer but she still turned bright red. Kat knew some of it but not all of it so Remus was the first person who she’d be telling that may have some understanding of it. “Truth be told, romance novels. I know I shouldn’t but I can never stop reading them.” She thought for a moment then realized that she couldn’t think of any questions at the moment. “I’m sorry but I’m lost on questions for the moment.”

Remus smiled. "Nothing wrong with a romance novel," He assured Joc, though he personally didn't enjoy them all that much. "Hmm...Wanna give the questions a rest, then, or should I do the thinking?" He asked with an open grin that sai he didn't care much either way.

Joc smiled at Remus’ reassurance of her guilty pleasure. “What would we do if not throw questions at each other?” She asked teasingly. She went back to eating her ice cream and was almost at the point where she could start getting into her cone.

"Well, that's up to you," Remus said suggestively with a teasing grin. However, he then pondered the question more seriously. "I honestly don't know." He admitted.

Joc’s right eyebrow rose in curiosity at Remus’ tone and a coy grin found its place on her lips. “I don’t know either, that’s why I asked you.” She placed her free hand on his and took a bite out of her ice cream cone.

Remus smiled as Joc placed her hand on his, and he couldn't help but get lost in thought for a moment about how soft it was. He shook his head to clear it and tried to think of something to do. "Hmm...Maybe we should just stick with questions." He suggested when he found himself unable to think of anything.
